Life As I Know It

I've been a member for awhile now, but I have not yet written a blog, put myself out there. There has been a lot going on being my first year in college. I've realized how much I want to travel and experience new cultures. I wish I didn't have to sit in a classroom for four more years (7 if i decided to stick with pre-med) to earn a degree. I feel like I would do my best learning outside of the classroom, by putting myself into the world. Is there a job where I can see the world for a living? Study other cultures and share my findings with others? As of right now I'm planning on majoring in psychology and if I go to medical school I hope to become a psychiatrist. Part of me feels like I picked that path because of my mother. She wants me to do well in life, and I do like the medical thing. The only problem is that I have no self motivation to study. Anyways, this is me ranting right now. Hopefully I will figure it out soon.
